Yes. Kovasign complies with major e-signature regulations including the ESIGN Act and UETA (United States) and eIDAS-recognized simple electronic signatures (SES) in the European Union. E-signatures are legally recognized in 180+ countries. Note that certain document types (like wills or court orders) may have additional requirements depending on your jurisdiction.
We use 256-bit AES encryption for documents at rest and TLS encryption for data in transit. Every signature includes a comprehensive audit trail with timestamps, IP addresses, and signer verification — so you always have proof of who signed and when.

No. Your recipients can sign documents without creating a Kovasign account. They simply click the link in their email to review and sign.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees.
Only if you choose to connect it. Kovasign offers an optional, opt-in Google Workspace directory integration that a workspace administrator can enable to streamline inviting colleagues. Until an admin explicitly clicks Connect Google Workspace and grants consent, Kovasign has no access to any Google account data. When connected, the integration is read-only and we read just four basic fields per Workspace user (name, email, ID, suspended status) — no documents, mail, calendars, drives, groups, or org units.
